LinMin, maker of award-winning IT automation software LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning™, today unveiled LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning 6.5, adding the support for automatic networking re-configuration of client systems when moved from the provisioning vLAN to a production vLAN. Other enhancements include the support for provisioning ESXi 5 and KVM hypervisors and enhanced Windows Server provisioning performance.
In addition to adding the ability to provision Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS KVM 5.x and 6.x, LBMP 6.5 added support for newer releases of Linux, Windows Server and VMware ESXi.
LBMP 6.5 features streamlined packaging and the download of critical components from remote repositories during product installation.
